Can anyone tell me why some usernames are green & the others are just normal? I'm guessing the green ones are new users 'cos they are usually names I've not seen before. Come on Shaneystar & Pega, you two are very good at this AB business!

For the first two weeks a new user will have a green username. Thereafter it turns black. It was brought in to help with an imposter problem the site had a while back where people were using similar names to existing members and generally causing trouble.
you guessed right eaglchris
You are quite correct eaglchris. But it doesn't always stop the imposters ..as I have had to change my username because of the Shineystar that was floating around.Lots of other people have had their names cloned too!

On a different note:

Shaneystar, just read your post in Body & Soul, I work with a fellow with the same thing, once they sorted the medication out the effects were fairly immediate: he is almost a different person, much more get-up & go and he says he feels 10 times better than he had for a long time, so good luck & it can only get better!

Thanks eaglchris for your good wishes.
I feel much more positive now I have seen my GP and hopefully once they get me on the correct dosage of thyroxine all will be well.Wish you all the best for 2006.
There seems to be lots of Green Names, appearing no doubt santa brought lots of laptops. In the travel section a lot of newcomers too...and lists without any clues with so many quizzes you have to smile Good Luck to everyone in the new year, and to Shaneystar God Bless take care.
