Of course it's down to the mess that is Brexit, Sandy and it will get worse.
I see no better times ahead sadly.
it's just as bad this side of the Channel, the government only barely has enough money to pay Rishi's air fares

But some are demanding to be paid to appear on TV

Thanks to English Tories and Scottish SNPers, sandy.A plague on both their houses, sandy.
The Brexit benefits are now coming thick and fast.
For the umpteenth time, YNNAFYMMI, any SNP voters who voted for Brexit made no difference to whether the UK left the EU or no. Constant repetition to the contrary will not change that fact.

Why on earth can you not admit that?
//The European Social Fund (ESF), which provided about £40m a year for hundreds of community organisations,//

Just a point of clarification. The European Social Fund was itself funded by the five net contributors to the EU budget (of which the UK was the second largest). The funds thus provided were then redistributed (after a deduction for “administrative costs” – which included £100m a year for the European Parliament to move from Brussels to Strasbourg once a month) to be spent as directed by the EU. All that has happened now is that the UK government has taken control of that expenditure and it will be spent as directed by them.
\\The European Social Fund (ESF), which provided about £40m a year for hundreds of community organisations, was halted as a result of Brexit.//

Where did this magic money come from, the EU has no money, so where did it come from.?
NJ, if the UK government is providing £57m over a two-year period, who will be paying the £23m to match the amount the ESF would have paid in the same period?
@16.46.Aye,TCL.The English Tories and the Tartan Tories(the SNP eejits) have a lot to answer for.
YNNAFYMMI, in what way did SNP voters voting for Brexit affect the result?
SNP(29%),Scottish Tories(27%),Scottish Labour(19%).The SNP,the Brexiteer party in Scotland.
I asked how the vote was affected.

Did SNP voters voting for Brexit change the result from Remain to Leave?

Another way of asking, if every SNP voter had voted Remain, would we be in the EU still?

When you give your answer, show your calculations.

//NJ, if the UK government is providing £57m over a two-year period, who will be paying the £23m to match the amount the ESF would have paid in the same period?//

Nobody, I imagine (unless a rich benefactor arrives on the scene).

Who says that the eeyoo would have carried on with the £40million bribe? They have troubles of there own so don't tell me yours.
TOGO, why do you spell and spend more time typing, "EU" as "eeyoo"?

Is it meant to indicate something?

In the run up to the Brexit vote did the government promise that no one would be out of pocket if we left the EU?
Perhaps I'm mis remembering.
Not down the Brexit per se. Down to your politicians opting not to cover all that used to get our money via the EU. One assumes that recent world events has persuaded the government to change their intended budget decisions.
You remember well, Sandy. You may also recall that the UK people were told that after 2019 no money would be paid to the EU by the UK.

Not that I recall. But then the topic didn't particularly interest me.
Strange that you've been banging on about it for the last few years then NJ.
