morning, Sunday already, the day of rest, I hope that you are all in good health, and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

I am meeting a friend for a coffee and a natter later today, which will be nice.

I would like to clarify one point from yesterday, i know that not all pensioners get free prescription glasses, sorry if i gave that impression. Though why they don't is beyond me.

Today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 18c, with thunderstorms predicted.

i guess so, i only wish our days were warm and sunny. though it has been unseasonably warm for some weeks.

Nah, nothing fancy tonight, meatloaf made from leftovers with mash and whatever veg I can find.
Might go overboard and zap some ready made gravy:-)

Good morning gang.I did some gentle decorating yesterday. Things that had been driving me nuts for ages! Like the bedroom windowsills!!

no idea how to, but needless to say they would keep the feet dry and cosy in really bad weather. I have two pairs in fact, don't ask....

when you have to do some work, its best to get on with it or get someone in to do it for you. I am glad i got in a professional to do the hallway, it looks great.
