We are going out for a late lunch to a lovely pub. It a little bit further to travel but worth it.
Hope you enjoy your day Em.
Good morning Emmie and those who follow!
I felt my eyes spring open at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep again.
Enjoy your pub lunch and the trip that takes you there.
Take care

Morning chip 1ozzy
LOL Chip, 3 am is my wake up time, thanks to my bladder, occasionally I can snooze afterwards.
Morning all, I hope that you have a good day today and keep cool, calm, and collected.

It's a place with great food and decent beer so I think it will be an enjoyable day. The weather has turned somewhat. And is a lot cooler. We had rain yesterday and the forecast is for thunderstorms today.

Morning sanmac
Thanks for the reminder Mac.
Keeping cool won't be a problem.
I kept cool on Tuesday afternoon/evening as I finally turned the air-conditioning on...What a difference!
Question Author
We have had all the windows open. But this morning is decidedly cool.
I hope it doesn't rain. As we have to take a bus to the pub.
And in 6 months, or less time, the tables will turn;-)
Emmie, are you staying anywhere near Bognor Regis?
Question Author
I would rather not think about winter just yet. Have been enjoying the warmth of the sun and it seems like it's set to continue for a few more days. Though not as hot.
Question Author
Yes a couple of miles away. Place called Middleton on sea Elmer. My brother and sils place. Its lovely here. Nice and quiet.
Question Author
If the weather holds we will have a barbecue tomorrow. We were going to have one yesterday but had a lunch out instead.
I remember you saying the other day that you were in Sussex, so I looked it up and found that Bognor Regis is there. The town used to have a live EarthCam there showing part of the beach You could see a sort of inflatable kiddie-ride thing on the beach and opposite was a fish and chip shop. In the distance there was the outline of the roof of a Butlin's Camp...Sound familiar?
Question Author
Yes it is the same one. I went to butlins once, never again.

Not my thing at all MAC. I much prefer a decent lunch out. Luckily they have some nice pubs with good food and beers and wine.
I don't know why it's called a beach there as it seemed to be comprised of just small rocks, stones, and pebbles:)
