Ball Room Blitz by The Sweet has been one of my favorite songs since I bought a copy when I were still in short trouser's around 50 years ago. I played it to death over the years. Then last week at a family do I heard a cover version by Sophie Ellis Baxter of all people which sounded okay (not as good as The Sweets version of course).... but for the first time ever it struck me that part of the song sound's just like The Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Show. Can anyone else see what I mean?

It certainly is, as is the one which preceded it, "In the Wee Small Hours"
I have very eclectic music tastes, though Frank Sinatra is never in any danger of getting on my playlist.
Sweet.
We're going round in circles here. Yes, they are on my playlist - but not Ballroom Blitz.
What about The Eclectic Light Orchestra?
If this is a contest to find the worst bands to have UK no 1 hits I’ll chuck in ‘Middle of the Road’
