Yes an increase of 3000% means 30 times more (30 x 100%). Expressing it that way is meant to make us gasp and is very misleading. Of course bookings have gone up today but in perspective if they were averaging 2 bookings a day they'd now be handling 60.

I seen reports of searches in May for holidays in Portugal increasing by 3,000% but not actual bookings.
