King Charles II
The first clear set of the rules of bowls were drawn up by none other than King Charles II in 1670.
Apparently Henry VIII was a keen bowler before that
That figures, he'd have made his rules up as he went along :-)
He apparently banned bowling for the lower classes

Angie55. It’s states in rules that you cannot disclose personal information. So I’m sorry I cannot say anymore.
vonjon, but you stated you got it from Bridgnorth library. They've never heard of the quiz, so someone isn't being honest?
Oh and I don't want personal details, just how to get a copy of the quiz.
Are libraries open? I'd be thrilled if mine was - and I could feel hope if others are already open again!
It could be Angie that someone local has set the quiz and left a few copies on a shelf in the library for others to pick up - vonjon hasn't got the setters permission to give out their name and address.

Just one possible scenario.
