Wednesday. Lots of rain during the night, but the sky is clear now, so it should be a nice day. I hope so anyway.
I had a big shopping order delivered yesterday, I had fallen asleep on the recliner, when I woke up And went to the kitchen, it had not only been delivered, it had all been stowed away in the correct places. I owe our lovely street warden a big thank you. Which she will get today.
I'll be glad when the hairdresser opens again, I'm beginning to look like an old English sheepdog!
Have a happy day everyone.
my hairdresser told me back in March they were selling the business and retiring, but due to the virus not sure what their position is now, considering there is no business in the area as such.
There is a big load of bacon and another of ham, from the butcher round the corner. I'll break them down into two slice units, clingfilm them, some will go in the cold ready use drawer and the rest into the freezer. The butcher has been rated the best in the country for the past I don't know how many years. All is produce comes from within Gloucestershire, and most of it from within five miles of the shop.
that sounds good boaty.. we lost our butchers shops years ago, they couldn't compete with the local supermarket. I still miss them as they were also
fairly priced and good produce.
