Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The quiz setter specifically stated “we respectfully ask that you do not post requests for answers on internet websites as this affects sales”. Why did you ignore this request?

Angie, The Ed has stated that this is a question and answer site and criticism of posters will be removed,

Danny, the Ed has also said posters should quote the name of the quiz and the closing date. And in this particular post, the quiz setter has specifically said no asking on internet sites. I have done nothing wrong.

Agreed Danny - she is complining about the asker not complying with the quiz rules, but then doesn't comply with this site's own guidelines.

And are the answerers contributing to the quiz or just answering to be clever?
Perhaps the asker was banking on that by not showing the quiz details?

People are answering without knowing the quiz details, and if they were shown as asked by the Ed, replies may not be forthcoming particularly when the quiz has months and months to go. People answering are not subject to rules.
