Friday. It's not raining! Yesterday turned out almost like a summer day. We are told today will be similar. I hope so!

Not a great deal to do today, just one load of washing. Such fun I have! Just had an idea, I've got plenty of mushrooms, so I think I'll make some mushroom soup. I'll get some cream while I'm out.

The meeting yesterday went OK. Just a general chat really, the outcome being carry on as is.

Have a happy day everyone.

All well this morning?
Morning off for a swim shortly the will walk the hounds when I get back and then spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Morning islay. sounds like a good plan to me.
Morning all. Think I'm now up for the day, though haven't quite decided yet. Swimming sounds good, though, so that will decide it!
Morning. I invited my son for dinner, didn't realise at the time that I don't have enough for him so I have to go to the supermarket.

Other than that...it's clothes putting away for me today.

ummmm I'm sure you don't mind shopping. ;o}
I hate hate hate shopping. I only need to buy some cod and spuds though.
Question Author
Not too bag then. ;o}
Question Author
I don't mind shopping, it's parting with the money I don't like!
Question Author
not too bag?[i

Not too bad! ]duh[!}
Question Author
What's going on this morning? That's not the way I typed it!
I usually shop online as I don't have a car.
Question Author
Ah. Right. You live too far from the shops?
No...that's why I haven't really bothered replacing my car. If I walk fast I could be in the town centre in 15 minutes. If I take a steady stroll I could be at the Co-op, butchers, greengrocers in 10.

Question Author
Right. I like to choose my shopping.
I used to be like that but I suppose over time you get to know what you're buying. Any complaints and Tesco just reimburse you.
Question Author
It's a good system, but I buy mainly from local shops, and have built up a relationship with the shopkeepers, have a natter etc. It makes it a pleasent experience. For me anyway!
You're unlike me. I don't talk to anyone :-)

I do tend to go to the greengrocers because If I buy a weeks worth of veg/fruit/salad there is often waste unless it's something the ducks like eating.
Question Author
That's why I tend to do the shopping on a daily basis.
