Monday. It's wet, but not raining. The wind has finally dropped. I can put everything back where it belongs now...again!

Not much to do today, but I'm sure I'll find something. The rest of the week is looking lively though!

Have a happy day everyone.

Afternoon oz. Do you want to borrow me big 'ammer?
Morning WBM and uncle Tom Cobley and all!

I'm sure he has a big 'ammer of his own!
Question Author
Morning alec xxx I'm sure he has!
How are you this morning my lovely?
Very cold here today. Woke at 02.50, fiddled with the printer - still isn't working! Managed to send a download to sister's boyfriend that was giving problems. Nothing special!
Question Author
Ain't technology wonderful ...when it works!

What are you up to today my lovely?
Must do some tidying up! If the knee and elbow pain goes away, will be able to manage the vacuuming too - gasp!

Saw Murdo's answer in Crosswords - same old, same old/that's him in a benevolent mood! He's probably reading this too - that old Hard Day's Night thing again - "Aye, he looks like a lurker!"

Don't worry about him. He knows he's not welcome.

I've got the joys of domesticity today too. It's about time the kitchen had a good blitz. It might even get it! :o}
Domestic bliss, methinks not! Rufus hates the vacuum, but at least he doesn't try to bite it anymore since it once tried to bite him back!

Murdo went to Mamya's thread. Whether that song was played to me or not, I've given an answer!

The wee white tornado likes fighting with the hoover too. When she's with me in July...or is it June...makes no odds. I won't let her near my nice new Gtech! She can be shut out in the garden while it's in use. She's great fun though! :o}
Such little sweeties, aren't they? My vacuum has one of those long handles, which chases him, if he's naughty! He can move fast when he wants to!
My hands are very cold and I'm finding typing slow this morning.
Question Author
Come here and I'll warm you up! ;o}

I'll be glad when it's warm and dry enough to get the washing on the line. Just finishing the bedding wash, it'll have to go in the dryer.

Had a squintie around in the kitchen, it's getting a blitz today. All the windows could do with a clean too. I can use the steam mop on the outsides, makes it a lot easier.
I haven't clicked on the link, but think that maybe that thing about Beard Oil in B & F is an advert?

You could come and do my windows for me! Unless it warms up here today, they aren't getting a look in!
Question Author
If you lived close enough I would.

Zapped it. Advertising indeed.

The steam mop is brilliant! I can do the hall and kitchen floors on one fill up, and in about a quarter of the time it used to take. It's easy to use too, very light.

Doing the outsides of the windows is a lot less effort, just needs a wipe over with a dry cloth after the steam mop has done it's job.
The sister had a steam mop 'do'. But it was heavy and I found great difficulty dragging it round the kitchen.
Just been laughing like a drain at the pic on FB of all the sleeping people in House of Commons!

The sky is red, where the sun coming up behind the hill, lighting up the underside of the clouds. Quite beautiful.

Are you in this afternoon alec?
Question Author
My steam mop is very light, very easy to use and the floor is dry in seconds!
