In to Work one Diet Coke, triple shot cappuccino and 4 sugars later - much more awake now.

What's everyone's plans today other than voting etc...will be doing that later when we get the car back from the garage.

I'm on antibi's Anne sugars are not too bad, but I can take insulin to cover the sugar.

I had breakfast Cupid, my tummy is a bit dodgy just now but I had 2 digestives as its all I can stomach in the morning. I'm just about to have my lunch too.
I need two Weetabix to get me going ;-))

Please get rid of Diet Coke - please. Even take the ord coke but not Diet anything by the way. Better still loads of water would be so good for you. From a person who knows all about diabetes,

I can't drink ordinary Coke Jenny too much sugar and it makes me feel ill as its so sweet tasting. I've drank water today and will do so throughout the day. I don't drink a lot of Diet Coke.

oh good - I thought you drank loads - yes my youngest nephew just found out about a month ago and now he gives himself the needle 3 times a day - unsure re the other nephew I think he is supposed to give himself 4 times but only gives himself 3. Also imbibes far too many sweets. But is 34 years old. A big boy eh???

I have 2 cans a day that's about it. That isn't good at all. I've been diabetic since I was 2 (now 27 nearly 28) I'm on 5 a day injections. It can be hard to adjust to for some people but they get there in the end. Hope that your nephews get into some sort of routine soon though
thanks Queenie - do think the latest nephew is finding a bit difficult re diet - you know how young ones love the junk food and he has no parents to properly cook for him.

I do, I struggled in my teens but I learnt a lot when I went on a course called DAFNE. Best thing I ever did, gives you a lot more freedom. I understand though and if I can ever offer any help or advice please just ask can see what can do to help.
thank you for that Queenie - will mention this DAFNE course to him when next I see him for it is awful hard to phone him as he doesn't answer but requests you to TEXT back - I don't text. But will tell sista - she sees him more often than me. Ta again. jj xx

Sorry to butt in, just like to point out that DAFNE is not suitable for those with Type 2 Diabetes (or die by sweeties as my wife calls it)

I survived came home went and voted and had tea and came to bed. Not long up. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts Sib means a lot. Anne and Alba seem to both keep an eye on me which is nice.
