Thursday. It's blowing an 'ooligan this morning, all night it's been going on, I hope it runs out of breath soon. At least it's dry. I went to select the new colours of units, floor and walls for my new kitchen yesterday. The fitters' boss and council bods are coming Wednesday to sort out the fine details, They start the work on 29th February. So much for hoping it will be done in the summer! I'll have no kitchen for two weeks. What fun! :-\

No idea when the new fireplace is going to be put in yet.

Off to the hospice this morning. Always a pleasure.

Have a happy day everyone.

oy. you at the back there pay attention or have you dozed off?
Question Author
That's good. My journey back was quicker than I expected. Lots of traffic, but it was all moving.

Question Author
ox? oz. sorry mate :o{
afternoon ox ozz. how are you?
Ox would be one of the nicer things I've been called.

All good being upside down thanks.

Just went and took Mrs Oz's swim gear off the line, it had been on for 20 minutes. Doesn't take long to be dryer than my sense of humour in this climate.
Leave things too long and they are destroyed by the sun.
I am very well thank you M'Lady.
And yourself?
i'm fine thanks. had a bit of a lazy day yesterday so got lots to do today. playing catch-up
Question Author
It's like that in Malaya too oz. Wash the gear you were wearing ten minutes ago, Have a shower then put it on again, all nice and clean.
Don't play too hard LadyJ or it will be the aches and pains that catch up.
Question Author
Not wrong there mate!
thanks ozz. you've reminded me I've got another load of washing to put in the machine. that makes two to go on the line when it's light (hopefully dry).
