i used to play badminton with my father once a week, (he was a champion when in the air force - loads of trophies)

i gave it up when he died - but i really loved playing
Gave my racquets to my grandchildren. Sad.

Fred, I'm afraid the Duke couldn't make it.
As a young one I played squash. Loved it until I played a man that kept beating me. So I stuck to swimming where I beat him hands down. I was going to try and swim the channel but my Dad talked me out of it.

Here's a tale, I love underwater swimming and I could swim a long way. Unbeknown to me I was being watched by a young lad. He was heard to say ''but Dad she smokes' it still tickles me.

Not the way we play, JJ. but I believe it can travel up to 200mph. (according to Terry, the coach!)
