3. The whole 9 yards it seems. 8 letters. could it be entrails?.
4. Top layer madam.. 9 letters. could it be epidermis?

This is so hard! Not sure about abdomen as Den is confusing me, or epidermis, or entrails!! Assuming 5 ends in ic, I can see garlic/pelvic but can't make either work with the clue. Back to the drawing board...
