Just watching a news item, and no matter what your opinion on the royals and royal babies...

...doesn't it make you feel OLD???

It simply doesn't seem that long ago that I was watching Diana leave hospital with William in her arms...and now it's happening all over again.

Or is it just me?

What???

Seriously...is William 30?

No...surely not.
not just you, time does go quickly, only we are usually looking the other way whilst it does.
I thought that too, although I don`t remember being that interested at that time. I remember Diana standing with William in her arms but I don`t remember watching the coverage of her going into hospital and the wait for news. I can`t believe William is old enough to be a father himself. Time goes by so quickiy, it seems.
no, he's 31
he and kate are 31.
If Prince William lives until he is 80, i will be 90 (if i am still here) when the baby becomes King. Yes it does make me feel old.
Oh my, I was thinking exactly the same thing. Over 30 years ago.
It's so sad Diana isn't here to see her grandson.
For all William's good fortune and privilege, every momentous occasion like this must be tinged with sadness that he can't share it with her.
I totally agree with that sentiment cloverjo.
cloverjo, i thought that, and she died in 1997, that is scary...

How on earth did he become 31???

Exactly how did that happen?

I could've SWORN he was no more than 25-26.

I wonder whether this is the reason I keep getting brochures from Saga Holidays through the letter box.

Seriously - something must be done.
Oh I remember Charles and Diana's wedding

It was brilliant

I was working and got double-time for the day!
Thanks for that scary thought SP. Yes, I too feel old!!!!

In my first job , we had shorthand typists for dictation and typing on something called a typewriter. In those days, the only people who learned to type were intending to be secretaries. Overnight, every school child was learning to type, and from primary school age. When did that happen?
It doesn't make me feel old, I still think the 1980s were only ten years ago
May be old but certainly don't feel it.
Physically, occasionally.
Can even appreciate a good looking young man.
