Good morning all from a surprisingly warm Sussex. It's only 4.18 am and it's already quite sticky and muggy. I've been out to water the garden, feed the birds, feed the foxes, done a load of washing and had a million cups of Earl Grey and now I'm all set to go and have a shower and get dressed. Hope the sun shines on YOU, wherever you may be. Make the most of it. It won't last !! Flaming June... xxx

Hi boaty xx. I've been up and about since 1.30. Just couldn't sleep. How I envy people who can sleep for hours and wake up all refreshed. I just feel knackered all the time. The curse of the insomniac I suppose.

i have been up for about an hour, i have not slept very well

it is warm and quiet outside, except for the birdsong - nice to have the decent weather here

just frying some angus beef sausages for my breakfast

I know the feeling well jan. My GP wanted me to have sleeping tablets. I said I wasn't going down that road. I don't mind too much, I've got used to it. I can relax and think of nice things. :o}

Boaty.. I refuse to take tablets. I'd rather have insomnia than artificial sleep. I haven't slept right through a night for 41 years so I'm used to it now. Still hate it though.

Spent the night listening to a piece call Black Symphony by Within Temptation. Probably a bit heavy for a lot of tastes but the arrangements with the orchestra are truly sublime, one of the best pieces of music I've heard in a long long time
