Good afternoon, Excelsior. Henceforth I must remember to acknowledge you personally on each and every thread, lest you flounce away with your bottom lip protruding!

Tiggs - you make it sound like eating takeaway leftovers is a bad thing...

Ratter - nice, but reminiscent of a stonking great MI on a plate.
I used to do it regularly years ago NM, but I'm trying to lose weight so not a good thing for me to do. The chicken I was going to make a curry with had a funny smell to it so I chucked it and got a takeaway with my brother.
did your brother taste nice?
As there is only me to please for the next few months my dining is going to become somewhat eclectic!

Today is likely to steak fajitas with homemade salsa and guacamole.

Have you decided how you're going to do the shanks?
Other than his ears being a bit crunchy he was ok.
Actually I've got a couple of lamb shank ends in the freezer. Might take them out and do them tomorrow as I've got the day off work.

Braised in red wine and balsamic, Eccles.
Decided to make beef olives, though can't decide whether to have them with mash or boiled "new" potatoes and of course lots of veggies too
home made beef burgers today.
that sounds lovely, Snafu.
do you make them often?
Chilli here. Just wondering how many people actually still have a roast dinner on a Sunday. We always had one when I was a kid and Sunday tea was always sandwiches, cakes and trifle.
no but theyre nice and easy. I think its a Jamie Oliver recipe. A teaspoon of ground cumin seems to be the 'secret ingredient' that gives it flavouring. As long as they bind together I'll be happy!
