and knowing that others have it much worse, I feel flipping guilty.

There's no rhyme nor reason ohter than the blooming pain in the leg is pulsating away big style.

Thanks for letting me moan x

Solpadol isn't shifting it at all. Went for me xrays on Monday. So a case of wait and see.

Shift over a bit triggs, you've got a comfy lap for me to put my feet on :D x

Thank you both xx
moan away

i have period pains and i feel sick
I'll send triggs round to massage your leg and give you a good toe sucking.......
I've been feeling sorry for myself as I've got a stupid cold again! :o(

Hope you feel better soon Alba xxx
fluff if you have bad period pains you should ask the doctor for anti-inflammatory tablets...they're wonderful.
Question Author
craft, it's the upper thigh, do you think Triggs could handle that? lol

ooh Fluff, they ain't fun. I used to get dreadful back-ache and not cramps.

2sp, I llike that, may I borrow it?

Triggs, mega lemsips xx (would give you a hug but please keep your cold)
im combining solphdine with ibo, then going to add some wine in an hour or so....

Oh feel better soon Alba ((HUG)) ♥.
Just because people have it much worse doesn't mean we can't have a moan...

I might have a moan myself, in a bit...
Question Author
thank you 2sp :)

ooh heck, we're going to have a hovering Fluffy soon.

I'm going to be really rude and suggest a Mirena coil, it stops periods. The first few months are uncomfy when your period is due but the joy of being pain-free in that area is wonderful.
I once got really bad tennis elbow and the doctor didn't want to give me the cortisone injection so he put me on anti-inflammatory tablets. When I went for a repeat prescription I mentioned that since being on them my periods weren't half as bad, and asked him if this was a coincidence. Apparently it was a side effect of the tablets...........if I'd known that I'd have asked for them years ago.
Oh that is so familiar, feeling sorry for oneself and yet at the same time beating oneself up because others in the world have it so much worse.

I think one is allowed to moan and feel however one feels. The fact that some poor soul is having a worse time doesn't make yours any better. It's not a competition.

Do you know what is causing your pain ? I get shooting thigh pains sometimes. The doc told me it was because I am overweight and the nerve was pressing on something. Although I'm sure that doesn't apply to anyone else here.

Thank you Mamya x

Am away to put my tin hat on if Ummm is going to have a moan in a bit :)

Craft, I swear there is a conspiracy amongst Docs to keep us as uncomfy as possible at times.
Question Author
Hi O-G, the doc thinks it's either arthritis in the hip or a pinched nerve from the groin which 'can be sorted by surgery'
i'm ok its only ever really bad for the first couple of days, i just felt like joining in the moaning :-)
ouch alba
