Can someone please tell me what the hell is an Arctic penguin?? (8 Across: Arctic Penguin's two eggs stolen by guy)

It doesn't exist. Penguins are from the South Pole.

PS: I KNOW there's no such thing as an Arctic Penguin (though there's a very entertaining website devoted to them!)
A Gentoo is a Falkland Island penguin.

The wordplay is GENT (guy) OO (two eggs)

So when did the Falklands move to the Arctic? (I may sound thick, but normally the ST Xword gives me no such bother!)
The Sunday Times crosswords are littered with errors through poor editing.

There is an AB member with the user name gentoo drawn for his work in the Arctic and maybe he will see this thread and pass comment.

Meantime my answer for your grid is correct.

I'd never dream of questioning your answers Kayakamina, and I fully agree about the sloppy ST subbing or checking. But it sure keeps one alert.
