The problem with the type of crime he was accused of is mud sticks.

I agree - he should go back to acting.

It's up to casting directors,    and more importantly the money men behind any production,  whether he should will probably be superseded by whether he can.

The problem is enough manure has been thrown and some of it sticks. So it's going to be difficult to find producers etc to take him on.

dunno, TTT, Mel Gibson still gets work despite his antisemitic racist / homophobic rants.

He's a superb actor, the sooner he's back on screen, the better.

Like it or not, he was found not guilty. Therefore, he should be able to return to his career without judgement.

But mud does stick, especially in these types of cases.

17:50 Yes but Gibson has not been on trial and also sex offences carry much more stigma even when found not guilty. There is always the "no smoke without fire" question hovering in the back ground.

Great actor.  I hope he can continue his career.

TTT, no need for a trial for Gibson, all the offences were on the  record: smoke and fire alike. So people know the truth and don't care.

No accusations against Spacey have been found to be true, so of cource his career as an actor should not be prejudiced.

Everyone agrees that he is a great actor, so he will get better parts than crap British tv commercials.
Then again, the great Orson Welles ended his career flogging inferior sherry on the telly ☹️.
