I qr'd a survey recently to see if I was eligible for prostate screening. It was an online tickbox form. I seemed to be what they were looking for but I was rejected as being too old.

That's a long stay in hospital.  I hope she's okay.

It is a long stay Naomi, but she isn't in a NHS hospital so she won't be kicked out as soon as she can go to the bathroom on her own.

10/14 days in hospital for an elective procedure, may be an error .

I've seen 2 reports. Both say 10-14. I admit hysterectomy came to mind....particularly with the rest period after.

That's what I was thinking, pasta.  

Pasta, I doubt you would get 10 days post op in an NHS hospital for a hysterectomy .

Does it matter anne? Are you saying she should go to NHS and then leave when they need the bed

I doubt you'd get it in a private hospital either, unless you wanted it. She's got lots of help at home, and we all know, I think, that we'd be happier at home as soon as poss.
