Surely the Tories cannot lose in Mid-Bedfordshire, where there doesn't seem to be an obvious strong opponent and LibDems and Labour it would seem are both fighting it hard. Last time it was:

Conservative Nadine Dorries 38,692

Labour Rhiannon Meades 14,0282

Liberal Democrats Rachel McGann 8,1711

Green Gareth Ellis 2,478

In Tamworth Labour are very much the opposition but the Tory majority is 20,000: that's the one more likely to fall I'd say

Strange times, Ich, strange times. Festus might be fuming.

Didn't Reform field a candidate then ?

It's only 12 months till the GE- whoever is voted in today is fulfilling a short-term role
