Last Bank Holiday before Christmas.
We have sunshine so done a bit of gardening, prepped tonight dinner and started packing for our holidays.
The husband has friends coming over later so may continue watching Yellowstone.

Apart from making a curry with jar sauce, doing very little today. Too tired to go anywhere or do anything.

Not a BH down here, RH - we have ours at a more sensible date on the first Monday in August (like the UK used to).

Into the village for some admin and shopping later, possibly a cheeky pint too.

No bank holiday here RH, I've had busy morning in post office and supermarket..then put out 2 lines of washing.. couldn't let the lovely sunshine go to waste, put fresh linen on beds. Have chicken satay in slow cooker for this evening..I think we have another bank holiday before Christmas ooooos did I just type that word out loud ;-)

I'm working and playing catch up because yesterday was disastrous. (Freezer failure plus Mr BM ended up working all day and night).

I have to leave here at 5am for work and the minutes are ticking by.

Once retired, BH's do not really mean a lot other than certain establishments will be closed. I am cleaning my dining room which is a bigger job than one might think. I have quite an extensive collection of blue and white! Spode, Delft and all sorts. I am just trying to wash the windmills which are delicate in the extreme. Always grateful to have a selection of spent tooth brushes and times like this.

The furniture is also getting a good clean and wax polish. Hence the need for frequent breaks - probably an age thing - so thank you for your thread, Redhelen :)

Packing for your holidays must make it that bit nearer for you, when do you go?
