No...and I never do until late in October. But it's very tempting as it's quite blowy out there, plus dull and grey.
No. Probably wait till end of month.
Yes only because my baby granddaughter is staying for a short holiday.
Yesterday & today for an hour in the morning - just to take the chill off.
No, the thermostat is set to come on by itself but coming in from the cold last night I was really tempted to change it to constant for a short while, but I resisted.
I have lit the fire, does that count?
Nearly did, then I thought, an extra jumper will do the trick.
No not as yet but it is tempting,
No, but nursed my hot water bottle from 9.30pm on when nobody would see me:-(
I refuse to put my wonderful under floor heating on until at least October. Another 8.5 hours to go.
I don't have central heating, but have turned the lounge storage heater on.
Yes. Don’t be cold it’s miserable .
We have had it on for an hour yesterday and today to take the chill out of the air. I am rationing it though because our oil delivery is going to take at least another 7 days. Cant light the fires either because I forgot to book a chimney sweep and I think there is a bird's nest in one.
Like others I have been tempted but it is usually at the end of October once the clocks go back that I yield to temptation.
No, thick jumper and plucking up the courage to wander down to the shed and get wood to restock the woodshed. Courage is failing me, rapidly.

I was trying to wait, until at least October but feeling the cold today, and it's the first day I have worn socks since the summer, so it must be chilly.
My heating came on on its own because the the house got colder than the temp it was set on. It’s really cold and windy today, and it will not be long before it will be on full time. I always think that I don’t smoke, don’t drink and don’t really go anywhere, so I think I would like to be warm.
We whizzed ours through for an hour earlier, to make sure it works and to bleed any radiators if necessary.
I doubt we’ll be putting it on regularly for a while yet though.
Unless you count college halls of residence, I've never lived anywhere with central heating and I've no desire to do so. The heating in my house usually consists of no more than a single 2.5kW oil-filled radiator next to my desk, which I've not yet turned on and I'm hoping not to do so for a while yet.
Mine is on every day. Sometimes with blow heater from eectric fire. Recenty i am always cold
We will put heating on tomorrow at the same time as the sprouts go on ready for Christmas dinner.
