in your home, what would you use it for?I would like one that could house all my clothes including coats, shoes, boots bags, nightwear, underwear, all that sort of thing. It would be lovely to just walk into a room and find exactly what I want to wear that day.

A downstairs toilet and shower room.
I've got a spare room now since our grandson deemed it uncool to stay with his grandparents every weekend, we got rid of his single bed and bought a fold up one in are we had someone stay , I have a desk with my computer , an Ottoman that houses all my clean towels , a swivel chair and fitted robes which I alternate Summer and Winter clothes from our wardrobe in our bedroom
A library ...books all round the walls and a big snuggly sofa to read in comfort.....been fantasising about such a room for nearly 50years.
Already have spare bedrooms, library, snug and dining room but I would love a garden room not so much a conservatory but more a greenhouse but built onto the house
A room for washing machine, fridge and freezer to give more space in kitchen.
Like mally, I'd like a library/reading room. Painted in a deep colour, it would have a deep sofa or daybed with lots of cushions and have a bohemian vibe with oriental carpets on the floor.
I'd also love a garden room...but that's not possible living 4 floors up.
I'd love a conservatory.
I have a spare bedroom where i keep all my work things. I also have an elliptical exercise bike in there and a few other bits of exercise equipment. I may decide to retire next year and if i do, the decorating gear can go and i will hope to eventually have a mini-gym in there.

Loving your choices. All these ideas are making me think I need more than just 1 extra room.
I have a small downstairs spare room, for the first time ever, as my son moved out. I turned it into a music room. I did always want a library, as others have said, but no need now with a kindle. Still sounds nice, though.

That should read 'elliptical cross trainer'. Lot easier if it were a bike with somewhere to sit :-))
Guns, cartridges, fishing rods, tackle, coats boots, bags, belts, breeks and divers other sporting essentials.
i do have such a room barsel. it houses clothes, boots, shoes.
I'd like a laundry room, obviously for my washing machine and tumble dryer, with a large sink, and I'd relocate my pulley from the kitchen.

I'd have to have a toilet in there too, we only have one loo and occasionally we definitely need two!
Utility/Pantry.
I’d like a proper brick and oak porch so we have somewhere out of the rain to take our shoes off and dry the dog down, before we step into the house.
I'd like a music room - all my albums and books on shelves round the walls and a good system to play them on, with a really comfy recliner chair and a big TV.

That would be nice.
We have a downstairs toilet bathand shower but then we live in a bungalow. A soundproof room would be nice for music disagreement and firework times for our dog.

Lucky you emmie. I suppose the easiest thing for me to do would be to get rid of a lot of my stuff, especially if it doesn't fit, but I've been trying to convince myself that it will fit one day.
no more rooms and no more rooms to clean
