right - I would like you to look at flights Australia/sydney to Belfast - return - First Class - probably next october 2021 - I am aware of the uncertainties of it it all but for just one person only flight only.

as you can see no hurry in getting immediate flights - Thanks Chris
I'll add it onto my 'to do' list then.

As there are no long-haul flights from either of Belfast's airports, a change will be needed at Heathrow. (There are no direct flights from Sydney to any other European airports, such as Amsterdam, Paris CDG or Frankfurt, so the only way to do it with just one change is via Heathrow).

So you're looking at either BA or Qantas for the main part of the journey, followed by either BA or Aer Lingus into George Best Airport. (As BA fly both sectors, that would seem to be the obvious place for me to start looking).

More to follow (eventually) . . .

hiChris - um - hyng over at all?
I've answered you question (as far as is possible this early on) on your other thread, Jennyjoan.

I've only looked at flights with a single connection though. If you want me to consider those with two connections there will far more options available. (The first change would probably need to be in Hong Kong or Singapore, with the second one at Paris CDG, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Heathrow).
JJ, although it's too early to obtain reliable flight data, due to your requirement for flights more than 12 months ahead, and the current Covid situation, I would also think about direct flights from Dublin using Etihad Airways, whom I'm sure offer an excellent first class service.
I'm sure that Chris will consider this as a viable alternative route, which should obviate any plane changes, either in London , Amsterdam, or a Gulf State country.
^^^ Etihad don't fly directly between Sydney and Dublin. There's a connection required at Abu Dhabi.

just read this this morning - that's good to know re Dublin with one changeover. - I will be copying all of the posts from both threads so that I can have as much information as I need nearer the time.
