Friday. An even overcast this morning. I hope it brightens up as I'm looking forward to a day out with friends on their boat. Good weather would be, well, good!

had a fitful sleep, must be the humidity, its certainly warm in here, i don't like waking at 1am then 3am
which is why i am on here at 5am. Its not too hard to get back to sleep but these dreams are turning into something else, not exactly nightmares but making me jittery all the same

That's not good emmie. I'm always awake about 4ish, but I usually get some sleep before that, not always much, but some.

i couldn't survive on less than eight or nine hours sleep, i usually do but this waking up early like 1am is getting to be a habit.

Why do I have to drive so far to find nearly what I wanted?

the weather doesn't look too promising here, and its still very humid. Another storm is brewing i fear. The weather man did say that its likely we will have another but its very dispiriting to not get out, and i have an early sainsburys delivery so i am hoping they don;t get too soaked if it does rain. My balcony gets flooded each time it rains so that;s not nice at all.

That's not a good habit emmie. There's nothing I know of to remedy that. Tablets could be a short term help.

a nice little drive, that here would take you to the Midlands i think, halfway up England. So a long and exhausting drive it would be.

Boaty, you could borrow my big umbrella if you like (guarantees dry weather) but I'll be using it I'm afraid as we're off by bus to the seafront for a long lunch with friends.

P.S. Had my shingles jab yesterday. Hope it works as OH and others have had the real deal. Can be horrible.
