When do you send/give your xmas cards out?
Just going to start writing mine out but somehow it seems a bit early to send.

I don't. The only cards I buy are for my kids and that's just so I can put money in them. Just handing them cash doesn't feel right :-D
I start thinking about doing it about now, usually. Haven't bought any yet, though. I find writing them a bit of a chore.
probably mid December, sent one already to friends in Oz.
Mine are written too and it is too early to send them. I may send them out next Wed or Thurs - I want rid of them.
I no longer bother. When the postage stamp costs over six times the price of the card it's time to take stock. I find that most are trite and insincere.
This is the earliest for me ever - I have usually sent them out a few days before Xmas hoping they will get them and they have.
I have sent the cards for USA already. But may send the rest next week. I was shocked at the cost of a stamp for the US, nearly 2 quid!
It is only once a year for a postage stamp altho I may say I have cut down also in the postings. Not so many now - I did make a mistake when I bought really beautiful cards but because they weren't "letter box size" I had to pay for extra postage so they are just ordinary size now.
I'll be sending more E Cards than ususal this year, I know it may seem less personal to some but I do take time to choose the right ones and add a personal message, it's largely due to cost and I have a subscription with a company and they have lovely cards.

Others I make and send out mid December.
Hi, Nailit....I've received two through the post and thought....that's early.
I have made all mine now and have to sign and address them by the 13th to get them into the Scout Post as most are local......I usually do this at the last minute!
Longer distance will go in about two weeks.....x
I'm not going to send any this year, will be making a donation to charity to the value of the cards and stamps.
(Have been doing that for a few years now)

Others will receive e-cards.

Thanks for replies. Thought it seemed a bit early, probably send them next week now.
(received my first one on 29th Nov!)
Beat you! Got one on 28th.
lol, Jack, there's some blinking organised people out there !
Nailit - some people like getting them early because they are part of the xmas decorations.
I received my first Christmas card yesterday from The Dogs Trust. It's a beautiful card.

I have bought mine and intend to get them written and posted this week. That's the plan.
Have not sent Xmas cards for many years, I give a donation to charity, I do give very well chosen cards to family .
I have already received twelve cards so far. I usually send about 200 every year.
I normally start posting mine around the 6th of January.
