le regle then seems okayish
Would not Le regle translate as The rule?
Ignore that post. Regle is a feminine noun,so La regne in which case I think that De regne is more appropriate,
Just checked another book which translates according to rule as en regle or de regle.
If I may & if it's any help - they seem to prefer Chambers as a main reference & 'DE règle' seems to fit the clue best -
