Today would have been his birthday......and also the birthday of his dad.......and it is the birthday of his son.....

It's a bit of a murky day for visiting a cemetery. Take your umbrella, Gness.

To shelter me and as a weapon, Tilly........have had quite a few ladies attacked and their bags with car keys in taken at our cemetery.....

Ideal spot to mug a visiting widow......... :-(

I know......a woman's attacked when putting flowers on a grave then left stranded and alone and hurt on the outskirts of town.....horrid...

I went to a churchyard to visit a grave, yesterday. The sun was shining and the snowdrops, primroses and aconites were in full bloom. It was so lovely and very peaceful.

I took a plastic bag to sit on and I had a long chat. At no time did I feel afraid but it is a very small churchyard. Some cemeteries are vast.

it's a sad fact that the dregs of society think a cemetery is a good place to attack a lone female :-(

This one's large, Tilly.....and divided into "gardens" by high hedges...and backing onto woodland.....x

It's a shame that the visit might be spoiled by a feeling of anxiety

It's a gorgeous day here, I'm hoping one of the neighbours is going to the cemetery so I can hitch a lift with them, it's so peaceful up there
