Had our tea date at 'The Roslin' hotel on Fri afternoon.
It was so nice I would recomend it to anyone as a treat.
beautiful bone china, started with mini Quiesh cream cheese & asparagus, then finger sandwiches fresh salmon crm cheese & cucumber & roast beef + horse radish, scones + strawberry jam & cream, mini fresh strawberry tarts + fresh strawberry merangue with choc flake.Coffee & choc swiss roll & mini cream slice, phew! we couldn't eat it all so I smuggled the cakes out in a napkin for the kids. Tea by the gallon.

It was all very nice. We didn't want an evening meal just had cheese & crackers.

May I ask what it costs Jem? or is that rude of me.
Is that the hotel the Duchess of Cambridge got married from?
I think that was The Goringn in London, this is a hotel local to Jemisa.
Cheers Eccles........

I don't know how much it costs Jeza as it was a gift but I will find out for you. I'm sure it is cheaper than 'The Savoy' or indeed 'The Ritz'

If you've got any POSH hotels near you they may do an 'Afternoon Tea' treat too.
I was just curious Jem. I'm lucky to get out for the shopping let alone an afternoon of tea and cakes.
Sounds fab Jem. I do love an afternoon tea, I often find they're too light on the sarnies and heavy on the cakes though.
I agree, something savoury, a tart or a wee pie.
