OK as your don't cook do you not think you are being a tad optomistic?
#jjdoescooking .... pope no longer catholic, bears using inside toilet facilities
My daughter needs a Pasta Machine. Can you hold fire JJ, until she gets under your window with a sheet? x
Question Author
I'm trying.

Sodding thing is really hard to use.

Gino on the telly said it was easy.
jj, try and make sure that it doesn't hit any seagulls as it fly's out the window.
Question Author
It's going to be a long day.

Get down to the deli and buy some fresh in - scatter some flour about and pretend you made it yourself!
Question Author
That is so tempting, FG
Why not - you would not be the first person to do that! I have done it on occassions especially with an indian as I just can't seem to make a decent curry!
Question Author
I've not done it myself before. I was determined to have a go.
the real enemy here is carbs
How did you make the dough? Sounds to me like it is too wet. Did you rest the dough in the fridge?
JJ , all the tv chefs fib a great deal about ease of preparation and cooking food and I can turn Jamies 15 minute meals into an all day cookfest. Never the amount of washing up I manage to generate. Throw the blooming thing to Gness and open a tin x
Noooooooooooooo! Not to me Flump...with my track record of injuries? Throw it to the daughter JJ....she's normal. x
Gness, no harm meant to you lovely lady, just a throw it your way type of saying ! If we were throwing things at you...they might be bandages, plasters etc xx ( sorry JJ )
JJB, I know exactly how you feel, I bought one the other week, have made pasta twice, grandson 'helped' last time and it took me hours to clean up the mess, I'm beginning to wonder if it was worth it and also how long it's going to be before it goes to it's final resting place in the back of a cupboard along with the coffee maker, the deep fat fryer, the bread maker etc, etc, etc.
^^jj, bloody auto correct.
