I remember when the PS2 first came out someone advertised on Ebay 'Playstation 2 box as new' for a few hundred quid.

The buyer was surprised to find that it was indeed a new Playstation 2 box.

This kinda reminds me of that.

The funniest thing I ever saw on ebay was the Alan Shearer Cup Winners Memorial paper Plate.
Newcastle had won nothing forever and the auction was for a paper plate with images of the face of Alan Sharer all around it.
The publicly published Q&A was the funniest thing I've ever read.
