could fall through a great black hole chasing the White Rabbit, and eventually having a jolly good time, how come the scientists in Europe could not duplicate the experience....so to speak?
Possibly because they weren't on the same hallucinogenic drugs which Lewis Carroll is widely believed to have taken (or because they didn't share his sexual preference for little girls)?
Mind-altering drugs back then?........No way! Furthermore, I believe the writer was a 'gentleman of the cloth': therefore, Sir, your unfounded accusations are without substance....so to speak.
The drugs are open to question. His will (which is a public document) isn't. It clearly instructs that the hundreds of photographs he took of naked little girls were to be destroyed. Three images survive but many of his (clothed) photographs of girls now feature in books and exhibitions as some of the finest examples of Victorian child portraiture.
Of course, Carroll/Dodgson was also a brilliant mathematician and greatly involved in the development of symbolic logic (which is used in the programming of computers, including those used by CERN to control the LHC).
I have to admit I despise people who take photographs of naked children. But they seem to get around it with statements like "This is what you looked like when you were six months old". And the response is "oh...mother, put that away".
How did I not know this info on Lewis Carroll? I was taught that the Alice/Looking Glass was a social commentary on Parliament!!! Who knew he was a perv????
Only 'learned 'people who existed after him, and postulated, theorized, assumed, added, and subtracted, and in general attempted to vilify him whilst at the same time getting their names in print....'Retrospectology': the most exact science.
