Further to the death of Keith Bennetts mother....
22 Answers
... I used to work with Keith Bennetts uncle. He said that if either Brady or Hindley were ever released, all the family would do their utmost to track them down. I don't know what they would have done but unless it happened to someone in your family it's difficult to imagine the actual feeling isn't it? But when I was 16, we used to go to the fair on Hulme Hall Lane, near the gas works, not far from where Citys' ground is now. That's the fair where Brady and Hindley were taking the kids from at that time. I could have brushed shoulders with them. A chilling thought.

This is probably one of the reasons why Hindley and Brady were never released.
I'm not sure I believe in God or reincarnation, but I truly wish that Winnie is now with Keith somewhere.

RIP Keith Bennett's mum, if they could only find the lad's body now and bury them together I think the lady would find peace at last.
When Myra Hindley died, the hospital staff responsible for moving the body refused to pick it up in makeshift coffin , they booted it to its destination thats how much hate left still and for good reason, before this evil pair we always told our kids if you are in trouble ask a lady to help dont ask a man, then she came along and that did not apply anymore.

may she rest in peace Mrs Winnie Johnson - a very brave lady.
as for Myra Hindley ????- may she never rest and never find peace. I knew a detective on that case, hes dead now but he said he never had a good nights sleep after that case and some of the evidence was so bad it was not revealed in court because the victim's relatives were there. Sorry but some people deserve no forgiveness whatsoever.Same goes for Ian Brady who cares if he starves himself to death let him get on with it.

Yes I too wish to add my condolences to Winnie's family.
I was born and bred in Manchester, still live there, so not a million miles away from Hattersley 10 Clarion St.
At the time of the murders I was working with a girl in Manchester who lived in Hattersley so I remember it well and I still feel the hatred for those two evil b'stards to this day.

Condolences to the family. Poor Winnie. I hope that wherever she is, it may be possible for her to have a chuckle at the expense of the evil Brady, in that SHE has cheated HIM out of his pleasure at the nasty game he played with her for all these years, and I hope that when HE dies he rots in hell along with Hindley.
