"What food have you had eat to be polite? "

Nothing. If ever or whenever I'm offered something to eat which I don't eat or like, or want to eat at the time, I politely say "no thank you", or I simply say I don't eat that. Honestly, I see no harm in telling the truth.
My mum once made a lasagne for my step dad and he ate it.
Ooops I forget to say he's a vegetarian... my bad :/
now that's really gross, Diz!
yuk and bigger YUK!
I went out for lunch today as I had an appointment in town (otherwise go home)
I ordered a cottage pie that came with peas, carrots & gravy.
It was bought to me, I stared at it thinking it looks as though it's been on a spin cycle in the washing machine before being bought to me! & I paid a fiver for it! I ate it cos I was hungry & needed to make a move for the aformentioned appt.
When I finished the waitress asked me if it was alright & I said yes!!!!! why oh why didn't I complain???????
She didn't know and he didn't want to offend her :) *pounces*
my mum used to try to force me to eat stuff i hated, now i won't i'll just be polite and say thanks but no thanks, or if its someone i know quite well, slap them round the chops and yell "are you trying to kill me"

anyway i'm off have a great weekend folks xx
jackdaniels it ends up like that in your stomach, they just cut out the middle man
Years ago when I rented a flat, my landlady invited me for dinner. I didn't want to go, but felt obliged. I neglected to mention I was vegetarian - I think it had become so much part of my life I no longer saw it as different. She attempted to feed me.....aauugghhh...wait for it......the worst worst worst thing you could feed an animal loving veggie ...LAMB!!!! I picked around it with my fork and tried not to actually ingest any, whilst making a pact with myself never ever to go out to eat again. The thought of it makes me feel ill to this day.
When I was in the states, someone lovingly prepared me a "Dirty Martini" which is basically a cocktail consisting of dry vermouth, gin and the salty water from a jar of olives.
