Sqadlet has called me, indirectly on another thread, a sad pathetic loser for an extra-marital sh@g. And Sara too.... just cos we admitted to having been on a dating site at some point. And, may I add, in my case - to quite some success.

Now a sizeable majority of participants on dating sites may well indeed be after an extra-marital dalliance or be pathetic for whatever reason - but that is not to say everyone who has been on such a site is. Anyone else agree?

Sqad - I am dismayed :-(((((

there's no need to go on a dating site for extra maritals.
that can happen anywhere.
IMO dating sites can be another way of meeting people
Question Author
True.... !
I think he may have had a disastrous attempt on one himself at some point. I wonder if he was Deep Throat Man From The Med? Now, he was a bit sad.
going on internet dating sites, do you mean 'desperate' rather than 'dismayed' ?

:o]

I only met one of my contacts - and am still with him to this day, 2 & a half years later.
I did however get 'chatting' to some really nice guys, and yes - a few pervs, but it's easy to suss them out from the beginning.
I do not agree that anyone who uses dating sites is sad or pathetic in any way. If married people are using them to meet people for extra marital affairs then that could be seen as immoral....and unfair on the people they meet who are probably expecting to get a long term relationship from their membership of such sites.

sqaddie......get yourself here and will wapp your backside.

Sal and sara he's just jealous 'cause he cant have you - I've got him tied to my bed.
salla....trouble maker..............you and sara have misconstrued my remarks and you both know it.

You yourself have just admitted...."Now a sizeable majority of participants on dating sites may well indeed be after an extra-marital dalliance"................."a sizeable majority."

vibra.....obviously sara and salla

Oh, excuse moi for starting a thread you're all bored with.
I'll have to go away and think up something more original and interesting......
tambo....I wish.

Any man, with time and with the help of Dating Sites can have a team of women, from High Wycombe in the south to Preston in the North, the Wirral to the West and Knottingly to the East who would agree to a dalliance if given ample time.
Less, desirable women would be put "on the bench", not in the first team, who would be willingly to stanome married, some widowed and some single.

Where is this moral Utopia with emotion and love that you all talk about? I am talking about the UK in 2009
well I just thought you'd all talked it to death over in body in soul
Question Author
That goes for women as well as men sqad - should we be so inclined.
Promiscuity or nymphomania is not confined to the male of the species.... (Can a man be a nymphomaniac? Surely only nymphs can be such?)
Question Author
Are you really Deep Throat Man From The Med?
(Oh no - silly me - that was just Legend.....) ;-)
