I spent 15 years in teaching, so I acquired quite a few nicknames, most of which I never got to hear or are simply unrepeatable in polite society ;-)
In my early years in teaching, the kids referred to me as 'Tufty'. Later on I was referred to as 'CJ', which was far from original since my best friends have called me that anyway since the age of 10!
Actually, I've never really had one consistent name. As a child, my teachers called me 'Christopher' (which I hated then and I hate even more now). Some friends called me 'Chris'. Others called me 'CJ'. My mother called me 'John' and my father called me anything with a dropped 'h'. (e.h. 'ubert, 'umphrey, 'erbert, 'enry, etc).
Oops, just remembered that when I left to go to the loo I left my computer on.I have just seen your post there Ice before I switched off.
So to answer your question, the answer is no, it is not me.
G'night!!
