This phrase, so beloved of inferior management always manages to niggle me.


Today, I came back with "No, but there are 3 in inspiration and imagination, 4 in initiative and 6 in indivisibility"


As you might expect, an uncomprehending blankness was my reward. Probably career-limiting too.


Anyone else have a meaningless phrase that really annoys?

Use of the word 'quality' as an adjective, as in 'a quality product'. This is utterly meaningless. Quality has to be defined as good, bad, or indifferent to have any sense.
No, there's no i in team, but there is a me!
the optomist says the bottle is half full
the pessimist says it's half empty
a good project manager knows the bottle is too big!
