Name of TV programme

I am trying to remember the name of a TV programme from maybe the 1970s or 1980s. Tried IMDB with no luck.

I vaguely remember a plane or space ship crashing and the people going across land. They encountered different 'zones' as they travelled and had great adventures in each of them.

Not a brilliant programme but the name evades me and is driving me nuts.

No - I remember vividly watching Blakes 7. This programme was American. As the group wandered along they kept crossing portals and going into other zones. Each week another zone and another set of adventures. It really wasn't very good.

I've got it - "The Fantastic Journey".

When I was typing the last message the word portal triggered a thought in my befuddled brain and I found it in IMDB.

Used to love that programme! Have never seen it since it originally aired in the late '70's. Wonder if I'd like it as much now?
