morning, Sunday already, hasn't this week gone quickly, i hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?
I have a weekly phone call from my friend in NI to look forward to, and then will see what the weather does. Todays forecast for the capital is 25c with light rain, something it hasn't done so far this week, even though rain has been predicted.

not too bad, could do with a couple more hours sleep but i am wide awake.

But feeling a tad chilly.

its warm in here, and just getting light... somehow i feel that autumn is just around the corner....

the trees outside our front door are already turning brown, and tomorrow is the first of August, the days do indeed go fast.

My deciduous trees are starting to bud.
Shows summer is waiting in the wings.

I'm not,,

I've had enough of winter.

i hope that summer lasts for a lot longer, i need to shore up the rays before winter comes along.

someone mentioned Christmas the other day, can't be bothered thinking about that now, not whilst its still summery.

Never had a wintery Xmas.

Christmas is often dull and wet these days, depends on where you are, MInty has snowfall usually, but she is based in Scotland where winter blasts in with avengence.

Morning, you two. I just wasted 2 hours playing video games, but it kept me occupied I guess. I hope you two are both OK. We're still getting temps in the high 20s to mid 30s and long may it continue. In regards to your first post, time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana.

Well, he was correct as the number of pages on my wall-calendar are quickly diminishing.

I have two antique pendulum-clocks from the 1840s still ticking away and keeping excellent time. Imagine how much time they have seen fly by and how much history they have "seen"!
