The Queen gets several hundred letters a day, which all have to to get a response. Her staff deal with most of them , but there are still some that she has to read personally. She also reads and if necessary asks for clarification on every government bill before she signs it.
Yes, she has to sign them, but she still looks at everyone and asks for clarification and advice from her government and staff. That is only a small part of what she does on a daily basis.

Apparently her majesty likes jigsaw puzzles, but far more likely any spare time is spent following her favourite hobby. Racehorses. Breeding and racing.
Charles is an obsessive gardener, but likes fly fishing and of course most of the men like shooting things. I suspect that like most of us, sharing meals and gossip with friends and family features high on the list. I wouldn't want to be a royal...... however some of the jewellery is quite nice and I wouldn't mind the queens faberge eggs.

There is something rather lovely about a good tiara, unlike some of the terrible versions available on the high street.
