No.
And what would the Daily Mail do without them?
Yes. They're a pain in the behind. I can't stand drama queens who are 'stunned' by things like this.
pathetic !!

Yes Naomi, she obviously hasn't had any real dramas in her life if she can be 'stunned' by something so trivial.

And not only 'stunned' Dave, but 'baffled' too. Gosh, such problems!
"Stunned"? What a ridiculous woman.
I think it's a fair point actually, but why on earth she's talking to the Daily Mail about it I have no idea. They were obviously going to stitch her up and do their best to make her look like a t1t. Naive or what?

A simple note to the AA would have sufficed.
A simple note to the A does not get your 15mins of fame.
I wouldn't have even noticed.

Yes, so I question her motives but not her actual point.
It's idiots like this that make the English language clumsy. On top of that, will she expect priority treatment if she breaks down late at night because she is a woman on her own?

Looks like she just got lucky with the letter.
//Rachel Ellingham renewed her AA membership//
sounds like she's really struggling to stay off the booze

I question her point. Who is going to read a letter from the AA and assume they can’t be a mechanic? Really, who is in danger of doing that? I think people like her kick up a fuss over nothing at every opportunity - and that's what has the rest of us pussyfooting around wary of opening our mouths in case someone who is looking to be offended spots us!
Well , I've never seen an AA woman - not while I've been sober , anyway
I'd guess she didn't go to the DM directly but tweeted or facebooked them and the DM picked it up from there. this is what reporters are paid to do now...

she has a point though.
Not hard to change the word but...

//'It's a little thing, but it's casual everyday sexism and it all adds up.//

Was recently stuck at the roadside for six hours, after asking about the possible problem was we were asked about the occupants of the car.

'three males' my mate tells them.
I knew then it was going to be a long wait.
Sexism but imo acceptable sexism. I'm quite happy for women to get priority ... which to some, probably makes me sexist.

I agree with you, Talbot, it's being gentlemanly.
