Friday. The promised Arctic snowfall didn't happen I'm pleased to say, just a light dusting. Outside temperature is 1.7°C If that's all we get I'll be a happy bunny! A trip to Wotton-under-Edge is on for today, the road to there is a bit hilly, so snow is not a good thing.

I'm on duty at the Visitor Centre at Saul Junction tomorrow, so I hope the weather is kind to us or it might be a short session.

Going to roast a boneless chook wrapped around apricot and cranberries.

Knock up a spud salad, a Caesar salad and some Greekish salad.

Serve it up all cold,,,,,,dammm hot here today.

Please don't keep me here, otherwise my plans will go to pot ;-)

morning boaty xx Oz xx Wendi xx snow here but worse is the ice..roads are very bad and it is freeeeeeeezing......got mum's aerial probs sorted , will go back tomorrow and bring her back for few nights....phones still down here , engineer coming 8-12....weather permitting....no power cuts...yet..fingers crossed !

never rains Boaty !! ...bleedin' brother is causing probs for mum.he phoned CPN and told a tale that she couldn't cope look after herself etc etc etc..I hit the roof and got it over that he only sees her 3 hours a month..what does he know ??? GGGRRRR....

he wants to throw his weight around and appear that he is in control and is a caring son...CPN knows otherwise..I have told him about brother trying to access bank etc and how little time he comes over...neither was CPN happy that brothers were making plans for Christmas etc without even consulting mum.let alone me !

Well done minty. I think I know his agenda minty. You shouldn't have to be defending yourself and mum against your siblings. But their agenda is not in mum's interest.
