if you have to go to Dept 42 - say mwah mwah from me ( the mad one ) they'll know which one I am - o and Dept 26 - I feel as tho it was my second home

Obviously my hair loss is nothing like as traumatic as yours Baths - it's simple hereditary baldness, but the psychological aspect is the same.
When you are conscious of something changing about the way you look, it is very easy to think that the world is as conscious of it as you are, and of course, you have to tell yourself that they are not.
An easy trap to fall into is the belief that everyone a) notices that you look different, as much as you do, and b) they care as much as you do, and of course, the reality is that they don't do either of those things.
It's an emotional sound barrier that you must go through, and then you will accept yourself, and know that everyone else does as well.
But these early days are the hardest of course.
Wearing a wig and taking a turban as back up is good advice, and be proud of your look to make yourself feel good, as indeed you should.
Let us know how you get on - we are all thinking of you.
