First salmon of the year and i'm not talking about that farm crap you get. Salmon doesn't need any fancy cooking.Bring to the boil in salt & malt vinegar and i kept the tail for cutlets to go under the grill with butter, delicious! What way would you have a salmon and what would you have with it?

I have two salmon fillets for tea tomorrow. I will wrap them in foil and put in some butter sprinkle a little salt and parsley or dill, put in the oven for around 20 mins. Serving with new potatoes, salad, and fresh brown bread. Yum.
Sounds lovely AYG - I usually cook mine in the microwave but I shall try them your way instead ..... what temp oven please?
I usually cook it around 180 degrees. ;)
Thanks AYG, I haven't had salmon for a while, now it has set me off and I fancy some for tea tomorrow, I will go and take some out of the freezer. Ta muchly! ;)
