I think that would be "Zubes" throat lozenges. I'm sure the old advert invited you to "suck em and see"

I had the same idea earlier, Auldyin, but then recalled that the Zube advert said: "Hoarse? Go suck a Zube!" It had, of course, a picture of a horse to accompany the slogan. There may, obviously, have been a different Zubes campaign with the "Suck it and see" slogan...I just can't remember.
