I had a bit of luck on the Irish Lottery on Saturday, when I went for my money on Monday I was told I had to wait until after Wednesday's Draw as I had also entered the numbers,on the same slip for Wednesday. How ludicrous is that?

Did you rub a clover leaf? :-) Perhaps it's a double wammy; hope your luck strike twice.
Whey you collect your winnings you surrender the ticket. Didn't you want to be in with a chance on Wednesdays draw? You clearly paid for two draws.
Surely cashing in a ticket that was valid for the following Wednesday, before wednesday, would prompt the machine to issue a new ticket. ??

Wallsend,Tyne and Wear and it was a big Bookies as well.Trouble is I am friendly with all the staff so just accepted it,but, I could have been one of the awkward gits who get in regularly, there would have been trouble then!!

Hope you succeed,bobbi.!!
not looking good ever but ta anyway
Just asked my daughter as she is manageress of a large bookies. They had no right to withhold payment unless they had not enough money on the premises but you could still demand payment as you could have been a visitor just passing through for the weekend and not able to come back on the wednesday. They can take your ticket pay you stamp it through machine as paid out and give you back your ticket for wednesday.you can bet for the next 6 8 0r 10 weeks if you want as long as you date each bet. Can't see your bookies being any different. perhaps they had paid out lots on winnings as it was grand national but they should have said and you could have got it on the sunday.I see you went on Monday well they would have known of all the big wins and should have had the money there.
It makes sense as the ticket is still valid for another draw.
