I was lent a book of poetry today ...

.... this poem was in the first couple of pages,
Life is so short, use every minute to live, to love, to laugh,to gaze in awe, to ask, to see, to feel, to touch, to taste the salt of tears, to feel the heat of the sun, to smile cry & scream, to care to dare to dream. To hug, to shout, to think .... don't waste one single second cos one day you're playing hide & seek with some kid, then your eyes blink & you're forty years older carrying his coffin. It's a strange crazy life : and the secret is never take anything serious.

it was there for all to see
till one day in Benidorm when salt got in it
an the letterin ran on the 'd'
an I loved that girl like nothin else on earth
but that tattoo it came between us
how can yer love a girl that's topless
with a chest that sez ' I love penis'
